IMPORTANT NOTES AND TIPS:
- No card is needed to access generic public areas, to walk at short distance from the villages or inside them, neither to walk on the high path ( number 1 and related).
- No card is needed (and it will hopefully remain like now, even after havin published this tip..) to access the 'Via dell'Amore' from 8.00 PM (some earlier in winter and spring) and until 7.00 AM. Considerate that this is the only part of the entire path's network which is lightned nighttime. For a non-hiker this is a very plesant short walk that can, alone, show all the beauty of the Cinque Terre..for free!
- In case of bad weather conditions (such as heavy rain , sea storms,..) or in case of maintenance some parts of the paths may be closed, so ask in the information point, before to purchase the card, if the path you're interested in is accessible.
- Also for the ferry, consider that if the sea becomes slightly rougher some towns are unreachable, because the ferry cannot land securely, that's the case of Manarola particularly. top of the page
