One of the most beautiful hiking tours of the Cinque Terre starts
in Riomaggiore with a steep ascent to the church of Montenero
where you will be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view.
Our experienced guide takes you during this tour, which lasts
about 6 hrs walking time, through wine terrace fields, ancient
little villages, chestnut forests and along the impressing steep
coast with fantastic views. During the hike a wanderer's lunch
with bread, cheese and wine will be offered in a funny forest-bar.
After a strenuous descent the medieval village of Portovenere
awaits you with small streets, cosy bars and Gelaterias on the
promenade. From Portovenere you can easily catch the boat to
the Cinque Terre or to La Spezia.

Return: 4.30 p.m. in Portovenere

This walk take 5 - 6 hrs real walking time. The paths are
often narrow and require walking stability. The ways up and
downhill are often very steep and exhausting. To bring with
you: drinking water, protection against sun, wind and rain,
hat and good walking shoes. Do not hesitate to ask for further
information. Arbaspàa reserves the right to cancel
a tour in case the minimum of participants has not been reached.
