From 28th November to 8th December, Sestri Levante will host an event very appreciated by foodies, featuring markets, tastings, recollections and show cooking, a stone’s throw from the sea“Pane & Olio” (bread and oil) is back, from 28th November to 8th December: this is an event dedicated to the promotion of the Ligurian extra virgin olive oil and to the local products.
Many activities will take place all across the city, between the historical centre and the two beaches overlooking the Baia del Silenzio and Baia delle Favole bays. Many tastings of local products will be available, as well as anchovy – based street food, such as the traditional Bagnùn of Riva Trigoso and the typical fried anchovies. Many initiatives will be dedicated to the little ones as well, with a mini – course on oil tasting, in addition to a real, working oil mill, food markets, show cooking with great international chefs and cooking classes.
